Our mission statement highlights two things that are important to us as a church. It answers the fundamental question of why we exist and what we're seeking to achieve. We want to encourage one another in the Christian life and to reach out to others with the good news about Jesus.

What we're about...

At Woy Woy Presbyterian Church our focus is upon Jesus Christ. Jesus is the Son of God who came to rescue us and make it possible for us to enjoy forgiveness and the sure hope of eternal life. He did this through his death and resurrection. Jesus is our Lord and Saviour. We discover Jesus in the Bible, so our focus is upon helping each other to understand the Bible more. We also want to help other people come to know Jesus as we have.

Many people think that church is about being religious and following traditions - but it's not about that at all. It's all about people. We are a community of ordinary people who meet to encourage one another as we learn to honour Jesus in our lives. A church is not a building - it's a friendly welcoming family.
